“Bhim has been to Solu Khumbu twice.
Yam’s son Shachin with his young friends are in the northern villages of Tapejung.
Namuel and his cohorts are reaching the unreached.
Amar..Sam from Dharan and I were in 3 villages.”
Robby Rai (mobilizer)
We just received this report for a dear friend who is a Nepali Missions Mobilizer in his nation of Nepal.  We were able to introduce the AIMS (Accelerated International Missions Strategies) three years ago to a group of pastors and leaders in Eastern Nepal.  130 pastors and leaders from 9 different denominations joined forces to target unreached people groups in Tapejung. a region of the Himalayas where the 3rd highest peak in the world is positioned on the border of India.
They mobilized teams and traveled to this region to share the love of Christ and to minister salvation.  From that initial thrust, 5 house churches were planted and through to evangelistic campaigns there were over 400 decisions to follow Christ in this remote region.
This is so exciting!  One of the most encouraging and inspiring aspects to this report is that there were no western missionaries.  This effort was completely conducted and carried out by Nepalis.  Three years later and having several trainings and campaigns conducted in various parts of the country, we are so delighted to hear that the work is continuing  and multiplying.
Trainers and equippers are multiplying the work in these regions.

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our objective is to see indigenous churches planted among unreached.  In this scripture we see that Jesus is giving some specific strategy to believers in fulfilling the great commission.  He says, go and make disciples of all nations.

Nations is translated from the Greek as ethne:  where we get the word ethnic.

The target is all nations, or we could say people groups.  Nations is significant to the ethnic people groups that are in the world today.  He is not talking about nations that have a geo-political boundary but the 16,000 people groups that are in the world today.  Out of these people groups over 7 thousand are what we consider to be UPGs (Unreached People Groups)  these are specific people groups who to not have a viable church in their midst to evangelize their own people.  Also, it is noted that among these people groups, less than 2% are Christians.  These UPGs represent over 3 billion of the 7+ billion people in our world today.

Jesus says that these ethne need to be discipled.  Our vision is to see churches planted among these Unreached Peoples in Nepal and wherever God would direct us to network.  Not everyone in these people groups will be able to uproot and move to another city or country to go to a Bible School.   We believe in the vision and purpose of Bible Schools, but we also believe that for these People Groups to be discipled they must have churches planted in their midst.

God chose the church to be the primary instrument of discipleship.  Adults, Seniors, young adults, youth, children and families must have the opportunity to be discipled.   And they can be discipled through churches with effective models of training that can be multiplied.

Thank you for partnering and networking with the church in Nepal and the various countries we will be ministering in throughout the 10/40 window.  Your prays, support and activity is making a difference ithe harvest among the unreached.

Please join with us in praying the Lord of the Harvest to send laborers into the field of the 10/40 window.  Join us on facebook as we pray with thousands of  believers around the world through Joshua Projects prayer for the unreached.
